萬千星輝賀台慶(2)

以下我介紹萬千星輝賀台慶其中一個節目:

無線電視遨請曾在劇集裏的情侶檔演員在台慶夜唱其情歌。

這個主意不俗，一方面觀眾可以懷舊一番，又可以再見到十幾二十年後的『情侶』究竟變成是怎麼樣的。

第一對螢幕情侶是：李琳琳 +石修

第四對螢幕新情侶是：鄭嘉穎 + 佘詩曼








最後全部四對螢幕情侶合跳一隻舞做完結!

萬千星輝賀台慶(1)

昨晚是無線電視四十一歲台慶夜，藝員傾巢而出，合力表演舞蹈、唱歌、跳彈床，戲劇。















最初藝員分別穿上西方及中國古代宮殿禮服載歌載舞地出場，隨著其他藝員穿著現代服裝也進場，最後六位司儀，包括鄭裕玲、汪明荃、曾志偉、阿叻、崔建邦等等。

Men’s Marathon at Beijing (2) – Inside Temple of Heaven Park

At 7:42 a.m., the Marathon runners reached the entrance of Temple of Heaven Park (天壇公園).
It was a rewarding run inside the park.








Firstly, the air was fresh inside. Secondly, it was shady and cooler inside, sheltered from the sun. Thirdly, drinks were provided inside for the runners to compensate their loss of water from sweating.








It was a six- minute run. They passed 圓丘壇, a round 3-ring raised platform (a station for exchange of horses), a low house called 皇穹宇 and the three-storey Temple of Heaven (天壇).

At 7:48 a.m., the runners left the park by an exit which led them back to the main roads.

Vivo Salon and Fairwood

Does Abby need a hair-doing in this salon? The answer is a definitely “No” because almost all her hair-cuts are done by Grandma or Connie.

Each time when Abby‘s hair reaches her eye-brows, she needs a hair-cut. Abby is quite cooperative at time of hair-cut, otherwise her hair will have zigzag lines. She has a special cloth to go round her neck and over her clothes before her hair-cut was done. Some girls cry when their hairs are cut, but Abby does not. She does not mind losing some of her hair.


Does Abby often go to Fairwood? The answer is a definitely “Yes” because she often goes with her parents to a nearby Fairwood Fast food shop to take breakfasts, lunches and dinners. She must have left many finger-prints in the shop.

There is one thing I should have mentioned. Abby acts like an ambassador inside Fairwood, walking around, stops and looks at the customers and attracts their attention. She builds up “diplomatic” relations with the outside world in this way. She never feels "shy”.

From the photos here, Abby suits to be a small model for promoting children’s wear. Do you agree?

Men’s Marathon at Beijing(1) - At the start

It was August 24th, 2008, an important day for Marathon runners. Each one of the competitors aimed at winning the title of the “longest air bag” (長氣袋) in the world. Competitors had to assemble and do warm up exercise much earlier than 7:30 a.m.








Rough estimate gave me a figure of around a hundred runners ready to run the race of 42 km. A big “plastic” arch had been inflated and erected as the starting point next to Tien An Men Square(天安門廣場). The blue line on the road would give the shortest route to the athletes and lead them back to the National Stadium, “Bird’s Nest”.

Hearing the firing of the starting gun, the athletes ran like a swarm of “bees”, but soon merged into a long “dragon”. On the way, they could check their running time by looking at the time indicator on the roof of the official car leading them.








At first they saw the Tien An Men Gate Tower(天安門城樓). Soon they turned right into Chang An Avenue (長安大街). The wide avenue had six lanes on each side. Most of them ran in the shade of trees. On and on they ran…......

After the Cruise at Milford Sound

After the Cruise at Milford Sound, as the sun was getting down, Yin Ping and Ho Keung drove from Milford Sound back to Te Anau. It was not fun to drive on roads which was in complete darkness and it was time for them to take the evening meals in the next hour.

The road condition in New Zealand was good. Since the road cut between high mountains, driving on it was like travelling at mountain-deeps. The steep walls of the mountain looked very much like black curtains hanging down.

The sunset views at Lake Te Anau (at Te Anau Downs) showed the silhouettes of trees, hills and grass against the still bright sky. The mirror from lake water reflected some of the yellow light from the setting sun. All these sceneries were very different from those in bright day-light.











The next morning was sunny. Yin Ping and Ho Keung left Te Anau (south- west) and drove to Dunedin which was in the south east of South Island. On the way they saw some farms and their farmhouses, sheep on the fields and very tall trees which shielded the land from strong winds.

Answer to “What’s this?”

Inside the heap of clothes, there was a Russian lady athlete called Elena Isinbaeva. Making a private room for herself, Elena took a short rest inside. It might be a good thing for her to do this because she could relax before she attempted the next vault. Look at her shoes and legs out of her heap of clothes.








It was the Pole Vault Game for ladies at Beijing Olympics, 2008.

Elena had successfully vault over the height at 4.95m. She was aiming at the new height 5.05m. She failed twice at this new height, but in the last vault, she made it.

Let us look at how Elena vaulted over this final height. She lowered her pole at a slanting position, rested it on her shoulder, raised it and ran towards the target horizontal cross bar. When the pole was inserted at the right spot, she bent her body to bounce up with the help of her pole. She made all the necessary actions right. With this last vault, she crossed the bar with ease. Her face burst with big smiles and pride. At that moment, she was writing a new page in the history of vaulting.








Thus Elena won the game and at the same time broke a new world record (5.05m).















She was so happy that she stood before the screen to tell the world that she had become the new record holder in the Women’s Pole Vault at Beijing Olympics.








Elena took her victory run with the Russian flag at her back in front of thousands of spectators. The latter cheered for this Russian lady who was honoured to be a “wonder-woman” in Vaulting.
