Smog

It was a gloomy day on July 11. The photo somehow showed the smog I saw outiside my windows. I guessed it was a mixture of heavy dust particles and fog that persisted in the air. Breathing seemed difficult to everybody because the air was dirty. All day long, we felt hot and agitated because of the weather.

The photo shows the scene of my part of Shatin in different tones of brown. The visibility at that time varied with distances. The buildings nearer the lens of my camera were clearer, but they are all dressed in muddy brown. Further away were layers of buildings in lighter brown. I like this photo particularly because this smog of the day had created a picture of blurred objects layer by layer.
