Hi, we are back at last! It is not that we have forgotten you and your blog. It has been a few gruelling weeks. Besides work commitment ( for financial reason Yin Ping has put retirement on hold ), we have been very busy with the church work. We also try to help with the needs of some people who are sick. There is a couple, by chance the husband is found to have advance cancer of the colon secondary to liver. Yin Ping accompanied them to see the different group of doctors, asked questions on their behalf and being their interpreter. He has started chemotherapy this week. Both husband and wife have received Jesus as their Lord. AS much as people want to prolong their lives, we all understand that compare with eternal life, life on earth is short.One day everyone of us has to stand in front of God and be accountable for our decisions. It also happened that we were the only one turning up to help a friend whom is a single mum on the day of her moving house. We also had to learn two hymns quick to be able to sing among the choir in a funeral, as a respect to the late choir conductor of our previous church and as a support to his family. We see it as God's grace for us to be able to provide assistance to people when they are emotionally vulnerable. Excuses, excuses, anyway we are back now to appreciate your hard work of your blog project.
Thank you for your compliment. The beauty of serving others for the love of God is that we have the freedom of not having to bother about people's reaction. We are humbled by their thankfulness which is treated as a bonus.
