A sports car raced with a 747

On September 6, 2009, there was an interesting race between a sports car and a Cargo 747 plane at Singapore Changi Airport. The race was broadcast to the public.

The pilot of the plane (in white shirt) and the car driver took a photo before the game was played.

This heavy cargo plane had to power up before it could start. It must be a long-distance run for both to make the race exciting. The plane started off first and the race car started next. No wonder the sports car could accelerate fast and chase past the giant Hercules 747 on the ground. The sports car won.

Interesting but not meaningful race.
