It is amazing to find Volkswagen beetles as taxis in Mexico. The models of these beetles are not the latest versions like those I saw in Vancouver, but the versions much much earlier with flat windscreens. The reason for so many such green beetles running in the city was that they were very cheap at time of sale.

Volkswagens as taxis
It is amazing to find Volkswagen beetles as taxis in Mexico. The models of these beetles are not the latest versions like those I saw in Vancouver, but the versions much much earlier with flat windscreens. If I am on holiday and need to go to the airport with our luggages I won't choose the VW as it has only small boot. Not a good idea to use this kind of car as taxi which is the similar reason to using a 2-door car.
