Today Tim and May came to have lunch with us at Castle Hill. Loretta arrived in her car in the afternoon.
Yuen Siu pretended to play the piano while May, Loretta and Yin Ping open their mouths as if to sing. Tim and May had to leave because they were going to the airport to take Connie and Philip to Castle Hill.
Towards evening, we joined the Christmas party and dinner at church. There were games and singing during the party. We each got a Christmas gift, a doll of a lamb for Yuen Siu and some chocolate for me. We returned to Castle Hill.
Connie and Philip arrived at about 11 o’clock. Everybody chatted and laughed in the sitting room. The boys started playing shuttle cork while the girls sat quietly watching. Group photos were taken.
Tim and May gave us Christmas gifts (a photo album to Sek Sang /salt and pepper containers to Yuen Siu).
We soon ate ice-cream at the dining table in the kitchen. Since it was over 12 midnight, the young ones including sleeping Ally had to leave.

It turned out to be good that you two could spend more time in Australia. You were able to join the church activities on Christmas Day, to celebrate the birth of Jesus and to enjoy fellowship with others. At church we often find people working selflessly for the benefit of other people, following the example of Jesus who loves us so much. We appreciate that even such simple function needs lots of organisation and effort. Your presence had made the event more enjoyable.
We also appreciate your openness (in contrast to the past image of being reserved ) ,sincerity and the ability to enjoy even little things in daily life, especially Yuen Siu who can laugh heartedly at a lot of things.
And at last, PHILIP & CONNIE are here ! The waiting is finally all over. We can still remember vividly the moment they stood outside the door ! What a good day to have the reunion. You must be thrilled to see them arrive safely. We feel privileged to have your family staying with us.
