Daisy Mak kindly sent me the photos of a Hibiscus plant in her garden today.Daisy said, “The attached are the photos of Moy Grande, the Giant Hibiscus of Texas, that is now blooming in my butterfly garden. The plant is 3 feet 9 inches tall. Each flower has a diameter of 12 inches. The flower petals are thin like silk cloth. Each flower lasts only about one day but luckily there are lots of blooms in one plant. It can be used as cut flower to put in a vase to decorate my home and for me to enjoy it indoor.”
Daisy measured her flowers and leaves with a ruler. Both the flowers and leaves appear gigantic!

Wow! It is gigantic and beautiful, sadly the life span is so short.
