Cutting up a dragon fruit

Since the outer skin of a dragon fruit is quite soft, it is easy to cut it up in any way you like. The fruit can be cut longitudinally, or transversely or diagonally.

Here is an example of cutting a dragon fruit:
[1] Cut the top of the fruit first because this part is not edible.
[2] Bisect the fruit into two halves by cutting it longitudinally.
[3] Lastly, bisect these two pieces again longitudinally.

In this manner, the fruit is cut into 4 identical parts and they can be served for 1 to 4 people.

Dragon fruits can be chopped up into even smaller parts so that they can be served as one of the tasty, sweet and soft ingredients in a salad. The seeds are edible and at last they pass out from our intestines.

If one decides to eat it with a spoon, follow step [1] and [2] and shovel your spoon into the flesh and enjoy eating it.
