Plastic Lipstick and Mirror

The toys that Abby and Elly often played in Canada have recently shipped back to Hong Kong and arrived at their renovated home. The two children were so happy to see them again.

On July 7, 2011, they both climbed up to the top deck of their bunk beds. Abby first picked up the toy lipstick and mirror and struck the former over her lips.

Next came Elly’s turn. With her left hand holding the mirror, Elly brushed the lipstick lightly over the lips with the other hand. It was amazing to see her press her lips against each other a little so as to spread the lipstick colour evenly.

Wow, she was approaching two years old and was imitating a grown-up in using cosmetics. I wonder when she learned this?
