Water-lilies at Wetland Park

Have you ever seen yellow flowers of water-lilies? I saw one at Wetland Park last Sunday.

It stood out from the rest of the lilies because of its uniqueness. The other colours of water-lilies are lovely to see too – reddish pink, purplish blue and white. Together with the round flat leaves, the water-lilies form a beautiful picture worthy for me to take dozens of photos.

Usually, water-lilies grow in ponds. Here at Wetland Park, they are living in widespread areas of water surrounded by man-made canvas. They grow healthily here in clean water and the flowers come out almost at one time. What a flourishing scene of the lilies!
