Fox Glacier

After Lake Matheson, Ho Keung and Yin Ping went south-westward to another glacier called Fox Glacier. This time they did not join any tour, but tried to locate it and take a few photos of it.

They remarked, “No other glaciers in the world are easily accessible as Franz Jasef and Fox Glaciers. They are 20+ km apart.”

I learn from a map of New Zealand that Franz Jasef Glacier is north-east of Fox Glacier.

By coach/car and walking, the couple could easily reach these glaciers to catch their magnificent sights and feel their coldness.

Thank you for bringing back the special memory. The second photo was taken by Yin Ping when she saw the "little" Ho Keung walk beside a "big" mountain, and prompted her to think of Psalm 8:4 " What is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him? " If we should swallow any of our pride, we should do it in front of the one who created us.
