I am going to write the story out from my recollection.
The story begins with Kiki, Aged 13, lying on the grass listening to her father’s radio which was broadcasting a weather report and news that 10 witches returned after graduation. It was this piece of news that motivated Kiki to leave her family for training a year to be a witch that very night. Kiki would bring along Jiji, her favorite black cat. Kiki spent much time in packing and her mother dressed her up in clothes of a witch.
At night, Kiki’s parents, friends and neighbours said goodbye to her. With her mother’s broom, Kiki flew up to the sky. Kiki headed south towards the direction of the ocean. On the way, she passed a church, some roads, flyovers, factories and saw a heavy plane with propellers. She met a young witch flying on another broom. The latter said that she was good at fortune-telling and that she was returning home with some gifts.
Soon heavy rain fell and Kiki was fortunate that she was able to land on a train. She went into one of the carriages through a sky-window. She found that she landed on some hay and slept there for the night. She was awaked by some cows below the hay.
Out to the top of the carriage, Kiki started to fly again on her broom with Jiji. She reached a big town by the sea called Korico. The town was a busy one with many cars running and people walking about in the streets. While Kiki was flying over the heads of people, the people below were astonished.
Kiki had made great confusion to the traffic when she landed. A policeman was going to write Kiki a ticket for fines when a young boy called Tombo shouted to distract the attention of the policeman. This act saved Kiki from troubles. The young boy approached Kiki and wanted to talk with her but Kiki did not like to make friends with a stranger.
Being refused to live in a hotel, Kiki walked about and reached a district where she saw a pregnant lady called Osono out of her bakery shouting to a mother with a pram far away. The latter had left behind a pacifier of her baby. Kiki offered to take the pacifier back to the mother. So up went Kiki with her broom. Kiki returned to the bakery where the baker woman served her with drinks and requested her to stay and live in a room which was not in use for a long time.
Besides scrubbing the floor and household work, Kiki would help the shopkeeper in the daily business of the bakery – help the baking and delivery of bread. One day, a lady even asked Kiki to deliver a “present” using Kiki's Delivery Service, not bread this time, to an address.
Kiki flew on her broom with a map in hand. On her way, she was attacked by some birds, fell and the stuffed toy cat inside a cage (the gift) fell and dropped somewhere in a forest. Kiki thought of putting Jiji inside the cage and deliver the “gift” to the designated address, found the doll back and returned to replace Jiji.
Kiki was able to find the toy cat inside a house in the forest. The owner of the house was a young girl who loves to draw pictures. Kiki helped the girl do some housework in return for the toy-cat. After this delivery service, kiki returned home with Jiji.
On another day, the young boy who had saved Kiki from troubles came to the bakery shop. He invited Kiki to a party in which his friends would like to listen to the flying stories of this “Miss Witch” as the boy called Kiki. At that very moment, a man requested Kiki for delivery of a package of metalwork.
Arrived at a large house, Kiki met an old kind lady who would like Kiki to deliver some bread. At first the lady would like to bake the bread in her electronic oven which had been found out of order. Kiki then suggested to bake it by an old-fashioned oven baked by burning wood. During the delivery of bread, there was a big downpour of rain. Kiki missed the party because she was late home. She was totally soaked and became ill.
Kiki recovered after the lady shopkeeper had given her some medicine. The next day the young boy came to ask Kiki to watch the airship “Dirigible” at the seaside. They both rode on a bicycle with a big fan at its front.
At night Kiki tried to test her power of flying, but she found she lost it. It might be that fever that drove the power away. The next day, the girl in the forest came to find Kiki and invited the latter to her house. There the girl asked Kiki to be a model of her drawing. Both had a happy time in the forest.
Kiki dropped by the house where the old lady lived. Inside her house, Kiki learned from TV that the airship was flying, but facing very strong wind. Kiki learned that that young boy was on the airship as well. The latter was hanging in mid-air and was in great danger.
Kiki rushed through crowds of people and in-between cars to the scene. She borrowed a broom from a street-sweeper and tried if she could fly again. As if a miracle, she was able to fly again and was able to catch and save the young boy who fell from the airship as it collided with a tower. They finally landed slowly and safely onto a firemen’s safety-mat.

The title is funny, sounds like " A witch girl needs toileting in a hurry ".
