It took about three-hour driving, spending about a quarter of an hour at the Immigration at the border for processing (It included taking fingerprints, photo-taking, computerizing records and paying US$6 per head for each non-Canadian citizens).
We drove onto Highway 5 and the speed limit was 60 miles per hour (around 96 Km/h). Along the way we saw fields, small towns with houses, shops, outlets, casinos, storage houses, eateries and petrol stations.
Our destination was Seattle. The sight of Space Needle told us that we had already reached Seattle, a city which Connie longs to see. Actually the film, “Sleepless in Seattle” has impressed her a lot.

A very peaceful border indeed.
