An octopus called Mr. Paul lives in an aquarium (奧柏侯遜水族館) in Germany. It has the power to predict the winning team in soccer games. It has succeeded in predicting the winning teams, so far, 10 out of 11 matches.In this year’s World Cup for example, it predicts 5 matches correctly.

Paul's handlers will follow the now familiar routine. Two boxes will be lowered into his tank, each containing a tasty morsel of food and the flags of the two opposing teams.
Whichever box Paul wrenches open is judged to be the winner.
