Today I bought 6 small Cara Cara oranges from W Supermarket. They were packed in a plastic bag with a net weight of 2.5 pounds (1.14 kg) and cost $13.9. Each orange averaged $2.3.Let us see how Sunkist advertise this produce of U.S.A.
More Natural Nutrition – I agree because oranges are rich in Vitamin C and good for nutrition.
Distinct, Rich Pink Colour – Yes, it is different in kind with other oranges. The colour of flesh looks red, but when the juice is squeezed out and collected, it turns out to be a dark pink colour.
Perfect as a snack or for use in seafood and poultry dishes to add colour and flavour – I will urge Philip to add the orange juice to the food he cooks.
Cara Cara – The Power Orange – Yes, its power comes from its fragrance and taste. Complex and interesting!

The price of USA oranges in Hong Kong is HK$12.2 / kg, but in our place (Australia) it is A$6, about HK$50 / kg.
Lucky Hong Kong people.
The oranges you are eating in Australia, to some extent, value like "gold".
Well, the Australian valencia orange is cheaper, about A$2.0 per kg. To me, it is all right, and quite sweet.
Oranges are not "gold like", banana is. Recently its price is around A$15 per kg. That is, about A$3 each medium size banana !
If you own a banana plantation, you are sure to become a millionaire in Australia.
Banana is presently so expensive is because of Queensland's serious flooding which had destroyed most of the banana plantations. In Australia fruit price fluctuates a lot depending on supply. Banana could be as cheap as a dollar or so a kg.
