Inside a Red tube

Abby was really brave now. She found this new colon-like slide very interesting and exciting. A red surrounding, a closed area and without parental supervision did not scare her at all. I guessed Abby was beginning to adapt to the outside world, to explore more, to listen more, to eat more….. It must be a good and encouraging sign to everybody at home.

Her trials several times on this slide proved that she was ready to face new things. She walked up the steps by herself, without encouragement.

Perhaps she had observed other children play on it, so she gained confidence herself. She believed it was safe. In no way she should be scared.

I was really happy to see her put her legs into the tube and wriggle a little so that she was on her way down the red tube to its base. That was Abby’s bravery this October. Her facial expression showed that she enjoyed the fun!

Brave Abby! It happened that yesterday we were having lunch with Ally at McDonald and there was a similar slide over there. Ally was willing to play on it only when Yin Ping took her up and stayed up there to wait for her after she slided down. Anyway We thought she enjoyed as much as Abby on sliding down this type of slide.
