At the north-west corner of Pike Street and 1st Avenue, I took a photo of Corner Market which I considered a building in the old days. I was right when I searched its information from Internet. It was built in 1912, during the height of expansion of the Pike Place Market area.There were shops of fruits, flowers and books at the outside. A staircase led customers to its basement.
The semicircular windows, clock, still working, and the brick-like patterns on the wall, all impressed me most. The star flag of America was waving elegantly at its flagpole immediately above the clock.
