Some thirty to forty years ago, Hong Kong was still under the British rule. At that time, British-made cars were common in Hong Kong. They were mostly Austins and Morrises. At that time, father twice bought “Austin” sedans, one deep green and one white in colour. They were just 1000 c.c. Both of them had been stolen, but found by the police in a very short time. The trouble that brought us was to go to Kowloon City Police Station to report about the thefts.

At first it looks funny to see Mr. Bean adding another lock to his car, but after knowing what had happened to your father's two cars, it might be 'really' sensible for him to do this.
