This is not Hong Kong!

Taking a quick look, people may say that it is an MTR (Mass Transit Railway) train in Hong Kong. Well, it is not. It is an MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) train in Singapore.

The MRT system provides fast and efficient mass transit in Singapore. There are mainly 3 lines on this island:

The Green line links the East coast to the West coast. It starts from Pasir Ris (EW1) and ends at Boon Lay (EW27). There are 27 stops (stations) on this line.

The line branches out from Tanah Merah (EW4) to two more stations (CG1) (CG2) to the Changi Airport.

The Purple line is a North-Eastward line linking the Harbour Front (NE1) in the south to Punggol (NE17) in the north-east.

The Red line is a loop-shaped railway line linking Jurong East (NS1) going north first, then east and then south to it final station at Marina Bay (NS27)

There are 6 interchange stations:

City Hall (EW13/NS25) [Green<-> Red]

Raffles Place (EW14/NS26) [Green <-> Red]

Dhoby Ghaut (NS24/NE6) [Red <-> Purple]

Outram (EW16/NE3) [Green <-> Purple]

Jurong East (NS1/EW24) [Red <-> Green]

Tanah Merah (EW4/CG1 CG2) [Green <-> Green]

We have more interchange stations in Hong Kong than in Singapore! How many? Please try to figure them out!
