Ho Keung and Yin Ping joined a sight-seeing cruise along the coasts of the fiordlands at the south-western end of the South Island. Their journey began here in the top photo.
First, the happy couple tells us something about their cruise:
"We took a Milford Sound cruise as far as the Tasman Sea border. The Maori name for Milford Sound is “Piopiotahi”, meaning “Place of the singing thrush”, a bird which is now extinct. We have close encounters with the natural beauty of towering or snow-capped mountains, birds, seals and waterfalls. God uses the scientific rainbow formation on the water droplets as a testimony to His love and care for us although we have gone astray from Him."
Let us now see the coastal features they experienced on September 10th, 2007.
1. Photo 1 The journey began here.
3. Photo 3 shows the showers of water from a waterfall that went down to the cruiser.
4. Photo 4 shows a waterfall that ran down directly to the sea water.
5. Photo 5 shows a number of sea-lions sunbathing on the coastal rocks. Now I believe that sea lions are good swimmers as well as good mountaineers.
6. Photo 6 shows a vertical cliff that went straight down to the sea.
7. Photo 7 reminds me of our “Mountain Cream” ice-cream in Hong Kong.
8. Photo 8 shows the happy couple enjoying the cruise.
