The water was clear and in deep blue when my brother and sister-in-law arrived at Antarctica on their cruise ship, Clipper Adventurer.
The photo was in two main colours, white and blue. The blue sky was against the thin white clouds. The white snow almost faded away from the mountain tops, so the mountains appeared in patches of white and dark brown. Lands lower down the mountains remained snow-covered.
There was a rule to follow on the ship. Once a passenger left the ship, his name card must be lowered from a board. If he was on board again, he must put back his name card in position.
Don’t think that that card was unimportant. It meant “life and death”. The captain could detect each time if anyone had not returned to the ship after his/her expedition on land. It was not fun if anyone was deserted on Antarctica because it was just a big piece of ice, without food and warmth. Action must be taken for rescue if anyone was found missing.

Wow, this is sooo much prettier than a painting, so beautiful that it is hard to describe and hard to believe that it is for real. We can't help giving glory to our almighty Heavenly Father. It also reminds us that our life on earth should be for preparation to be with Him for trillions of years in tremendous beauty and peace.
