On the morning of May 6th when Ho Keung and Yin Ping woke up and looked out from their house, they saw everything whitened by thick fog, The distant land could not be seen. Even the house opposite to theirs looked blurred and mysterious. The scene was like a painting. The nearer bushes still looked green, while those trees further away lost colour and faded away as the fog approached metre by metre.
The road was dead quiet because it was too early for people to go to work. There was still a solitary white 4-wheel drive Rover by the roadside. It owner had not started it off yet and so it remained a visible object on the road.
The white post box in front of a grand house on the left was still distinct and the morning newspaper laid on the drive continuously soaking up vapour in the air. I wonder how heavy it would be in its master's or mistress' hands. The bright light behind the tall tree was not from the moon, but from a street light of the road. As thick fog swept across this piece of land, the newly-paved road, cars, most of the trees, houses and people in the neighbourhood were temporarily hidden.

Andy, I am sorry that you are not allowed to learn nor apply for a driving license at the moment because you are still young.
Sydney is not foggy every day. There are many sunny periods in a year.
Yeah... I am only a sceondary 1 student.
I do not have chance to drive cars at this moment~ ^_^
