Landing by a Zodiac

Passengers who went ashore the Antarctica from Clipper Adventurer had to wear bright yellow waterproofed suits for recognition. Of course they wore life-jackets as well. They sat on the sides of a landing craft called zodiac, four on each side. The crewman in red was the driver of the zodiac. The zodiac was a powerful craft which could travel fast.

The crewmen in blue once reached the shore would come to assist the passengers of those zodiacs that newly arrived to get off the craft and dip their feet in shallow water.

The landing process was never so exciting and dangerous because everything was under good control. The passengers did not need to worry. What they had to take care were their cameras or video cams. If they carelessly let go these equipment, they could not take their own photos or videos for the rest of the journey.
