Legends at Equator

Here are some legends at Equator.

[1] Eggs can stand perfectly stable on the head of a nail.

[2] Water will drain straight down right at the spot of the Equator, whereas away from the Equator, water will drain in an anti-clockwise direction whirl in Northern Hemisphere, but a clockwise direction whirl in Southern Hemisphere.

[3] It is easy to break up the “knot” made by the fingers of a person by another person.

A tourist guide at the monument of Quito, Ecuador, demonstrates these to the tourists. Please study the photos here and do experiments of draining water in your area to see if the legend, or better say, if the natural phenomenon is true or not.

The beautiful lady uses her mobile GPS system to test her location. She finds that the reading from the system is extremely close to 0 degree 0 minute 0 second (latitude of Equator).
