Are Burger Kings more than Mc Donalds?

It seemed to Yin Ping and Ho Keung that Burger Kings were more than Mc Donalds in the New Zealand Capital. It was great fun that this Burger King Fast Food Shop (in the big photo) was inside the Bank of New Zealand.

I guess it is a usual case that the customers of the Bank have to wait for a long time before they can be served by the bank tellers. It can be a nice thing to eat burgers there while waiting for their turns to meet the bank tellers.

Burger Kings at one time appeared in Hong Kong, but soon died out completely. I vaguely remember that I had eaten one of its burgers, full of cheese, in Tsimshatsui. For myself, I enjoyed eating that kind of burgers Audrey bought me and wife at “In and Out” opposite to the Fisherman’s Wharf in San Francisco.

This building of Bank of New Zealand is quite beautiful. It looks much better than those modern buildings made of glass and steel. It could be a hundred years old.

Yin Ping and Ho Keung also passed by the City Town Hall which was also a piece of art in architecture. I like those big windows, pillars and the style. It seems like a Magistrate Court.

As it was getting dark, they returned to their motel. Out from the windows, they found the Chinese Embassy. The building was like several sandwiches stacked up, newly-built, but plain in outlook.

Early next morning, September 2^nd, Ho Keung and Yin Ping returned to where the Parliament buildings were and took a few more photos of these buildings from other angles.
