Glory is Felix’s big dog. My wife and I first met her at Felix’s beautiful house. The first thing she did was to come near us and sniffed at us with her nose. We seldom met or touched dogs so we were a little scared. Knowing that her master and mistress were near by, our fear was gone. I guessed Glory knew that we were friends to Felix, so she did not show her teeth nor barked at us. I guessed she was just doing some sort of “Registration” in her brain by remembering the smell of these people from
Felix told me that Glory had the capability of recognizing the engine sounds of their cars. At one time, it was quite interesting to me that she stood on the sofa near the door, looking from behind the blinds and watching every move of people outside the house. It might be that she was curious of the outside world or she was doing her duty in watching out for intruders into the house.
Glory was so friendly and loyal to her master and mistress that she often sat beside them like children clustering around their parents. Here in one of the photos, you can see her sitting comfortably on the bench with Felix. In another photo, my wife was half kneeling behind Glory while this dog was taking a sun-bath in the sitting room.
My wife used to be afraid of dogs, but that day she was very different. She was brave enough to approach Glory and let me take a photo of her with this big dog. Where did her bravery come from? Drunk or Glory was too friendly to her?

She is so cute!
Who is "she", Glory or your wife?
Both are correct.
Thank you, Wat, for writing about Glory. It is so nice that even Glory gets a piece of the pie from your interesting and proliferative area. The fact that you titled this one as "(1)" tells me you are going to write more. Let me know if you need extra materials like pictures, movies, etc etc. haha...
