I can’t believe that the sole of a sports-shoe can be so complicated.
The sole of the sports-shoe in the photo alone is made up of 11 parts. Wow! Each of these parts, as described in the advertisement, has its own function. I don’t believe it. How about you?
My reasons are that these combinations added up may be positive (comfortable) or negative (uncomfortable) or zero (no change) .
Two of the combinations are +-+-+-+-+-+ and-+-+-+-+-+-. Obviously, there are other combinations that make the shoes comfortable or uncomfortable.
Whether such shoes are comfortable to wear or not depends on many factors:
(1) The kind of socks (thick or thin) the person wears.
(2) The way the person walks or runs or jumps.
(3) The conditions on the walkway (whether it is rugged, sandy, hilly, soggy or muddy, slippery)
(4) The weather at that time (hot, humid, windy, snowy, chilled)
(5) The materials of making the sole (whether they are elastic, cushion-like or not, or serve as shock-absorbers)
I am sure the shoes cannot face all the adverse conditions and make the person feel comfortable. What do you think? Click the photo and you may study the function of each part!

We think whether a sports-shoe is comfortable depends both on the manufacturing and your mentioned factors. Anyway the price is not proportional to the quality but the brand names.
