“London Bridge has fallen down”

“London Bridge has fallen down” can be applied to one of the coastal features my brother and sister-in-law saw in March along the Great Ocean Road in Australia. The whole piece of headland, if not the central part be lost, could resemble the look of our “London Bridge”.

It seems to me as if the fallen rock has been cut away by knife because the edges are so sharp and vertical. You can see how powerful the sea is and how weak the fallen rock is. Where is the rock that has fallen? I guess it fractures, disintegrates, falls into the sea bed owing to long erosion by sea, rain and wind. In some years or so, the view may be different here.
